"EFT is a body energy therapy that works with the body's energy system as the primary intervention to balance the energy body, eliminate energy blockages and increase the flow of energy throughout the energy body. It involves exposure therapy to thoughts, feelings, emotions and physical sensations while tapping on specific acupuncture points that innervate the meridians. New neurological pathways are created in the brain. Problems can be permanently solved or improved. Transformations occur in the body, mind, spirit and energy body" Dr. Flarey
There are no adverse effects, although it is possible to experience symptoms that are the normal consequence of working through and resolving major emotional problems; fatigue and headaches are common symptoms. Other symptoms, such as colds, allergies and mild infections, may occur: these are normal symptoms of recovery from stress.
EFT brings up things that are hidden deep within the person and a certain malaise. It often takes a few sessions to peel back the layers that have built up over the years and decades.
If EFT is applied correctly, the result should be permanent. If a problem recurs it is usually because:
- one of the aspects was hidden and is only now coming to light: we'll work on it then
- the problem has been solved too globally and is therefore partially resolved
- There is a subconscious resistance that prevents you from letting the problem go completely: you can address this resistance now.
My fee is 100 euros for a one-hour session. Reduced rates are available, please consult me. The first session is paid in advance on the basis of an invoice I send you, thereafter invoicing is on a monthly basis.
